How to send PM to non friends characters?

guys i know this is quite bit stupid question m i dont know how to chat to non friend characters,
i tried it all the way but still no way to go.
also how to chat wherin the chat message is out of the box?

U can typ /t "name of the person" and ur message.

Type: /t <IGN> msg
Example:
Saying 'hi, how are you' to my char 'IKungFuPanda':

/t IKungFuPanda Hi, how are you

Not sure what u mean with 'message out of the box' though

For the message out of the box trick, write something you want out of the box. Let's pretend it was "SLUSH". You'd type SLUSH, then keep hitting space untill you can't anymore. Then, backspace one of the spaces and replace it with something not supported in PL, such as ‰ (hold the percent button) or a character from another language.
