Have to agree....contest rewards should be just that. It's one thing to bring back some cool older stuff, but rewards for contests should stay exclusive....not be sold like anything else. Kind of defeats the purpose of having rewards for contests if people can just buy them later :/

It's the red antenna. And to people complaining that STS should not re-introduce old items, well, you have to know that not everyone has the time to join contests, played PL since its launch etc.

I don't complain about the people who got the founders helm, etc for being the first batch of players.

I'm more than happy to spend plat on expensive items, this red antenna was 20 plat when normal vanity helm only costs 5 plat. Just saying.

I totally agree w Apollo. What's the point in the contest now besides more traffic? Nothing. If you decide to sell to everyone what a contest winner earned,thats not encouraging more contestants and or donations.

Bringing the deals to iPhone is cool but recycling what Android had as a deal woild be awful. Where's the point of being unique. There's a reason why Android was first and these dealsvshould be laid to rest. Not recycled on the iphone.

When I get to buy a holocrimson shield ,I feel the Android users lost their unique item now. At least refund the Droid users 20 plats if thats the case. We love the game ,but the tricks to spend gets annoying. We don't mind already,but youre pushing it if you keep recycling

No one should be bitter about it really. Sts is a company, and they need to find ways of funding their game. Its due to these sort of deals that they are able to constantly have updates for the game and put up free contents. Anyways the items are untradeable, nothing to benefit from other than having the chance to own it.

it really depends, but I'd say its worth the investment (you get black ice weapons from quest...but by the time you finish them, you wont need them anymore, I kept mine for my other toons)
you can always go for sandstone caves as they have a higher pink drop rate, or shadow cave (drop rates a bad but sell at a high price)

I dont get it either.. I mean, I guess it takes away from the special feeling someone may get from knowing that they have an item that not many other people may have because they made it to a special event. Just like in real life, if they went to the Spacetime Studios Bar-B-Q and they got an exclusive Pocket Legends beanie baby doll and hat that says "I was THERE.", they wouldn't feel as special if later on they sold the beanie baby and hat to people who weren't THERE.

At the same time, someone like me coming into the game fairly recently and just finding out about these past events and specials, I would also like the opportunity to get some of these items. And I spend platinum and I don't mind doing it, so it benefits the devs and myself.

Bottom line is, you can't make everyone happy. Period. You will never please everyone. Someone will get their feelings hurt but in a situation like this dealing with thousands and perhaps millions of people, you have to go with what the majority will appreciate. Make decisions based on a broader audience and not only to please a few people who are hurt by the decision. So with that said, I would love the opportunity to buy these exclusive items! I think it's fair!
