View Full Version : Coming change to Elixirs - Not count down when in town, PvP or offline

As part of our continuing quest to make Pocket Legends perfect (or well, as perfect as it could be) we will be changing how the time remaining on an Elixir (or Enhancer in Star Legends) counts down how much time it has remaining.
When the change goes through (watch patch notes to know when this change goes in) your Elixir timer will not count down while in a Town, PvP area or when you are offline.
This means if you have to log out, your Elixir will still be there when you get back to the game. Likewise, if you want to hit a PvP zone to settle a score between someone in your party, your Elixir will be back in action when you go back to a PvE area. Or, if you just want to hang out in towne, hit your stash and check the consignment shoppe, your Elixir will be ready to rock when you get back to rockin'.

This is awesome!!! A number of times I've wanted to buy an elixir but wasn't sure if I'd be able to play for 30 min's without stopping. This makes me happy!

As someone who may be the biggest elixir consumer of all time (ok ok I'm in elixir anonymous, I admit it I'm an addict), and maybe more than everyone else combined for that matter, This is great news. You guys are really making this game the best, thanks for all the consumer conscious decisions as of late. It is much appreciated.

If it does i suggest that elixir timer should stop when you are searching for games

One suggestion if I may: when you die can the elixir pause also, if not atleast not disappear? Not sure if this is already in place or not (seen people with 1 hr elixirs die and not lose it) but I died the other day and lost mine. It might have just run out tho not sure.

I got past my fear of losing my elixer and bought a gold one! yay! Also, I managed to level up while being dead!

This is a crucial change. I can't count the amount of times I've lost connection or had crazy pings while under the influence of elixirs - now I can make my purchases safe in the knowledge of no wastage...
Great improvement - now I wouldn't mind seeing an in-game list of the quests my character hasn't completed; that would push the new update over the edge!

Oh, please don't drive up the plat prices before then knowing I'm coming :) :) :)
My typical playing time is after putting the boys down for bed, but anyone with a baby knows that putting them down for bed just means you have to get back up within 15-30 minutes anyways. You guys just royally saved me!

awesome, i think this is necessary as there were server issues sometimes when I had a 40 plat elixer and then by the time it was fixed i was just out the 40 plat and my elixer was gone.

Just found this thread. I assume this has been implemented? Now i can buy Elixirs without worrying about running out of time when i am not playing!
