View Full Version : Clicking through finished crafting screen and chests to skip

I believe it was even mentioned before that you would let us click through finished crafting screens. Right now we all have to sit and wait through 5 screens of "you have crafted X item." It would be greatly appreciated to be able to click through such screens just to speed things up. Also opening chests that drop items seem to require 3 clicks if that item drops 3 items now. It used to be just one click to skip before.

These changes / reverting would add speed and much desired quality of daily life to the world of Arlor :)

+1 it took 5 sec to speed up the planar chest

Yes, this needs to be reverted back to the old skipping system.

Hey y'all!

We changed the way it worked because we (falsely?) thought you would want to see what you looted when you clicked. Are you saying you are fine with the way that it was, where a tap would bypass the animation and not display anything?

Yes, because it was faster that way. If we wanted to see, we would stop tapping. If not, tap tap tap!

How would you know if you got that thing you were hoping for? While we are at it, what would the best way to open them be? Old way, new way, options for either, open 10 at a time...

-option to skip craft complete animation as you announced in a weekly community update but that has not been implemented yet
- no hopping cursor/ no jumping from a highlighted chest to another rarity chest or anything down in the chest inventory that is not even visible when opening a bunch of chests
-old version tap to skip
- we know by checking our inventory after opening

All we want is a single tap to skip viewing each item. Without tap, all items are displayed. This was the earlier system I believe.
Everything else is fine the way it is. No multi opening.

That is what we implemented - a tap skips the animation but displays the result. Obviously not what is desired, trying to get clarity on that now.

Oh! How i tell what i received is: i clear inventory and gold. Note down my plat. If its crafting, usually its jewels and ill have no jewels except ones i received from crafting or will be crafting. Once i am done w opening chests or whichever activity, all i have to do is check inventory, gold and plat.

I also know how many chests i am opening. Usually i do small batches anyways. Counting is wonderful :p

We still can not skip the animation by tapping, it is still the same as it was before..

So there went something wrong I guess ;)

This 'skip craft complete' implementation has not yet arrived in my game or I have missed something. Craft, I press 'complete', I see "you received" and I can tap as much as I want, nothing happens until the animation is finished.

Gotcha, I was thinking about the chest opening sequence, sorry. How would you guys like the Crafting sequence handled?

here is our situation,
arena players (some) open like 50-100 chest together (takes time) with animation,
only good things here are vials and fossil,,,,, to save time we go tap,tap,tap,tap,tap and later inv. sell all the bad gears and stuff... i mean the chances at looting fossil and vial are low.

Plus while opening many crates we observe the counts in gear and stuff going on in the background

as for the craft slots here is what i propose u do

if jewel,effigy,chest are crafted skip
if weapon gear or upgrade stuff, no skip.

or make it so such that. another tap skips animation,
this is want most players want.


however very few people open like 1 or 2 chests at a time, so i guess animation works for them....

basically,
animation stays but
if we tap screen animation stops/vanishes

thats all

P.S how come even though so many threads were made abt this topic, only kakashis was the one u guys entered (true he states valid points) but still

yes yes, the 'you crafted x' screen still can't be skipped by normal tapping... although you can use 'esc' in pc, or back button in phone...

but anyway, talking about the chest opening sequence, better give it as options, like how smart chat is right now,
for some players who open chests in small batch, taking a look into what we've looted one by one is preferred, but for (many) players who opened chests in larger batch, this one is unnecessary and just making it slow
the game need players to open in hundred of chests to loot something they want, so probably one tap to skip all will be preferred more

Basically I would like the ability to tap once to start the animation, and another tap to skip it. If there's 5 items that have completed crafting, 10 fast clicks should be able to finish the whole process nice and fast :)

For the chests, I usually just open a bunch of the ones I've looted and I don't want to click 4 times just to get to the next chest. The old system was once to open, once to skip, that's more than enough for chests as well :)

yes yes, if there is a problem with the current chest opening sequence, it's because when opening chest with multiple loot inside, we need to tap multiple times to skip

could be better if once a chest is opened, there is a single window/screen telling all we've gotten from the chest, and then only another tap is needed to skip it
