Would like an option to disable "Auto" targeting, for melee fighters (i.e. warrior)

The auto targeting is a royal pain in the *** for my melee warrior, and i would imagine any other class that decided to melee fight vs ranged. I understand the need for auto targeting for ranged attacks, but there is no need for melee fighting. I would like the ability to disable auto targeting so that i can simply dive into a mob and begin buttom mashing with my warrior without having to worry about the one enemy leaving the mob and my warrior following him out. I want "complete" control over my warrior without the game controlling where he goes or what he follows. Thanks.
