So I have 4 toons. With one of them, I created a guild. How do I invite my other toons to the guild? There's an invite by name button, but it doesn't seem to work for any character not currently logged in.
You'll need to invite a friend and make them an Officer so that they can invite your alts. As you say, the invite button only works for online characters.

Could you guys consider changing that? (While you're at it, I might as well be able to friend my own toons.)

Mycroft do you seriously want people to get guild invites while offline? I know you mean well, but that would open up a whole can of worms for the spam inviters that we all hate, because STS would probably have to make guild invites not go away after you log off.

No, what I suggest is that I be able to invite other characters associated with the same account, because they can't be logged in at the same time. There's absolutely no harm in that.
