Magical mug....i want more

After farming this I expected something more then just being able to consume the beverage.

You could of done many things STS, such as:

-movement impairment effects
-faint and taken to a new town/village...
-drunken arena (drunken pvp) where skills have a 10% chance of hitting the target and rest go in random spaces.
-quest while drunk
-achievement for worthy title

Lol drunk pvp
Pets attacking pets and players attacking team mates.

[Oakmaiden]

Boo hoo hoo fer u .npc told u it was non-alcoholic.

You wake up in some random house or inn, your gold all gone

Or end up locked up in krag for playing in the fountain nude

Or when you wake up you have to quest to get your stuff back

the only thing that i see here that is good is the achievement title part:
like make a funny title if you do a specific quest


and the rest i don't see the point in them.
Arcane legends is diverse and appeals to all types of players. now, some things that are released or updated can never satisfy everyone. HOWEVER it opens new options for some.

the drunk quest would be funny but i don't find that exciting.

Ironic, cause the only thing I see here is dreadful English (if you can refer to it as proper English with the awful grammar mistakes) along with simplicity which isn't exciting to read.

But as you said, AL is diverse and adheres to all types of players; Also I find what you said funny as certain decisions can satisfy the total population - if thought is put into it...

How about you say something in another language, like French, Spanish, Filipino, Chinese or other languages, and we can critique on your grammar and how dreadful it is?


Back on topic, I don't think promoting drinking alchohol and getting drunk (what the OP is implying) is suitable for a game available to kids...

Knowing and speaking a language is a completely different thing; if you must know I speak German and Spanish as well but where's the need when the most used language is English anyway.

Again, not everyone was given the opportunity to learn English. Also, grammar structure varies between language, and can cause confusion when you know more than one. For example, we say "在車上" (on the car) in Chinese, but in English, it's "in the car". So if you aren't aware of the difference , you can mess it up.


As for Alcohol, there's a difference between having it present and promoting the consumption of it. Plus, they won't even allow swear words, let alone promoting drinking alcohol?

The whole reason we have language is so that we can understand and communicate with each other. I perfectly understood the point that was being made by Raia. However, if you have no better criticism to make than attacking someone else's grammar maybe you should correct yourself first. You should have used an apostrophe to show 'cause' was an abbreviation. Linguistic 'snobbery' has no place on these forums!

Considering that the mug is arcane, it really should be something more. Before the furnishing update arcane items were so very awesome, but now when I see a guy with the banner or title I think "meh he probably looted an arcane crafting ingredient in elite brackenridge". Also to get it you need to go through elite tindirin, which is not something everyone can do.
