Quick responses are my term for the selection of 4 quick responses that you can choose from in order to quickly converse with your teammates. You activate them by hitting the "conversation cloud" next to the D-Pad.
I'd like to propose a few improvements.
1. Make the selections pop up in front of everything, including and especially the revive window.
2. Add more selections. Instead of adding more selections to the screen, make it so that repeated presses of the "conversation cloud" (or some other GUI element) cycles between pages of selections. This way, you could have multiple pages of quick responses.
I think that if I had more quick responses, I could add some text to tell my teammates how to approach situations. "Don't open that door!" "Make the squids get close to the Egg!", etc. People playing (with me, at least) will likely be more successful and enjoy the game more if I could give them on-the-fly tips without having to stop what I'm doing to type.
