leaving guild wait period

There should be a 24 hour timer that prevents a member from jumping from guild to guild. If you leave a guild you should have to wait 24 hours to join another guild. I don't like giving gear to members thhen seeing them jump to another guild.

The problem is some guilds are poaching members and if they can't get benefits right away maybe they wont leave.

No the problem is guilds have member envy and are looking got quantity and not quality. If someone only joins your guild because you will give them something what's to keep them from jumping ship when a different guild offers cooler stuff?
