concerning mage masteries

Soo...I was away from game for a while and come back and see these new masteries! AWESOME. Now that I'm almost 56 and a couple mil away from being ready to run elites......I'm curious what's the best to master to be equipped to run elite....clock or shield?

I personally love the clock mastery.

And honestly, if you aren't going for hybrid builds, you should be able to put points in both masteries.

For me, I use clock and gale mastery. Clock can permantly freeze mobs and gale can remove dot, slow, and stuns (for up to 4 sec after casting the skill with 5 sec cd)
Ps: yes, I'm a nub mage who don't use shield

I use 10/10 in time shift mastery. I dont use any other masteries. I use shield and nekro shield to do the gale mastery trick.
Timr shift is a must cause it helps a lot to melt elite mobs
