i was wondering, i couldnt seem to find them anywhere. My frend said you get them in LE but where? do you have to complete all quests there first?

You should terminate all quests in Lost Expedition, then take the two quests (1000 Yeti Pelts and 1000 Snowballs) from Sela and Ryom in Snowpeak Base Camp. You should have access to Frozen Nightmare Elite campaign (payed) - It is the today's special offer, 7 plat!

so i have to complete all quests right? then talk sela and ryom, take quests and go kill people in frozen nightmare? and how many people do you have to kill to get 1?

Its random, its not 1 yeti killed get 1 yeti pelt.
We usually do the last 2 maps.
Those maps are also nice farm places.
Have fun there.

Quote all. The drop rate is about 1/2, you must kill two yetis for a pelt; snowballs drop about half rate of pelts (when someone completes 1000 Pelts, usually have 400-500 snowballs to go). The quicker map to complete the quest is the fourth ("Snowball"), because of its concentration of big and small yetis.

The five maps are fun and hard, they are usually completed with help of one or more 50+ players, that are mostly kind with lower levels there. The pinks drop often, and are valuable in some extent (most of them are better than quest rewards).

no one? and 1 pelt per 2 kills?! u have to kill 2000 yetis for it. oh and how many times can you do pelts and snowballs quest?

You must terminate all LE quests for the two FN quests (1000 Pelts, 1000 Snowballs) to be offered.

Almost 1 pelt x two kills. A lot, IKR (I did both quests three times). U don't need to kill them all by yourself, even those killed by your team count. A week of light playing, two days for a bit hardcore player.

You can do each quest only once per character.
