So wouldn't tri spec-ing with 51 gear need 108x3 (Str/Dex/Int) stat points to work? 324 stat points needed, but we only have 275 @ Lv 56.

The lvl 55 stat requirement is 120, Yes.
But the lvl 51 and 53 make no sense at those requirements???? Why would/should they have a lower requirement then lvl 50 elite gear like death & hate which need 115?? Have those numbers been confirmed I'm driving and can't log in for a lil while.

I thought Sam said boosters don't work anymore? I tried it earlier, less than 120 base str and boosted to 120+ str, but I still couldn't put on my 55 pieces because my base str wasn't 120.

In other words, to equip 55 gear, you need a base of 120. To equip 51 gear, you'd need a base of 108. From what I understand, boosters are no longer useful at all.

New update makes it so gears requirements look at BASE stats, no longer the ability to reach said requirement.

If you evenly distribute your skills at 56, you'll end up with 95 in each spec. You'll be able to tri spec 40 gear (If I'm not mistaken. Once the requirements are changed) but you can not tri spec 50-55 gear. Tested once the update came out:p

Seems as though he's correct. Which is odd. I checked and verified the 51 gear but am not certain on the 53. Kind of weird...

Yeah, boosters are useless now.

This is my bear on 100 BASE STR. With this booster, I have 125 Str, enough for the 55 Fort Helm Requirement. But, as you can see in the inventory, I can't put it on.

However, if I change my BASE STR to 120, I can automatically put it on.

So yes, base stats is now the key to dual spec-ing; not boosters.

Why would any class outside of mage want to tri spec since people spec dex for damage and hit and str for armor and hp. And even then a mage with dex isnt that good since a mage skill encourages healing, support and aoe damage which dex does not do.
Seems like your doing so many thing your not doing each at its best. Makes sense why you duel spec a bird and mage with str(so you dont die fast) and a bear with dex(so your skill land because of the high hit%).

Stat-wise, I don't agree with tri spec-ing that much, for end-game at least.

Gear-wise though, I could see the use. A Gemstone Wand + Royal Sewer Head/Body + A Custom Wing would seem like a good Str/Dex/Int Bear. Good armour/dodge, good weapon, and good hit/crit from the wing. Although not possible, just seems good on paper :)

Hmm, triple specing may not be possible, but with dual specing at 120 (for 55 gear) as opposed to 173 in some cases, it means that my pally (str and int) can now use str and dex equipment at the very highest level. I initially thought that the levels of dual-specing equips would increase with the new update but it seems the configurations will change too (did str and dex enchantresses previously exist in numbers sufficient enough to be given a title?)

I found this to be a fun build,

56 duck

120 int

120 str

Rest in dex

Mm wand and robes (not much less armor than fury, and higher damage), fury shield, and custom CoP,

Very well rounded, 150 armor with 145-180 dmg, 20+ regens, 107 hit%, 30 crit self buffed. Having 30 second duels with str. Bears and coming out 50/50 on a test run with no skillset predtermined, done on the spot. I'm gonna work on this build for pve, as well ast ctf.

with new update you can have lot of cool looking gear like jacob cosmos helm, mystery bow, any sewer robe or leather, shield of gratitude, and golem helm
and another look with all that but different helm which could be overlord void helm
