whats more useful for mage?

i was wondering what proc is better, cryostar unholy gun or new arcane gun? from pve and pvp perspective.

wild fire for mobs arcane for bosses

Guns are usually pretty awful for PVE they are more for PVP.
For PVE go with the lvl 51 Mythic Staff (Hexstone/Hexblast).

As far as proc goes cryostar, but overall arcane gun a far better.

The cryo gun heals more and can slow/freeze players/mobs but the heal is limited to you. The arcane gun can heal your whole team and instead of slowing and freezing it pulses dot. The stats on the arcane gun are better. But cryo gun is force type. It has balanced stats. Sits between 46 arcane staff and pink 56 assault gun. Cryo is very balanced weapon that offers crit as well. The stats on arcane gun are very good though. Find a way to supplement crit. I have both and use only new arcane gun for pvp. Wildfire still op for pve mobs.

If you want to pve , non of those ... get a mythic staff its cheap now and has the best proc i saw in a while( wildfire ). But if you want pvp , id say immortal gun better than unholy. Tough it has no crit , you might need to find a way to work around that.
