View Full Version : war bird or str/int mage for endgame?

I'm fairly new to pocket legends. This weekend I have tried out the str/into Mage and am loving it. But in pvp I am constantly getting destroyed by 2hnd weilding birds. I a pvp fanatic and that's what ill be doing at Max lvl. Just want to know which is better so I'm not sailing for fail endgame. :-) :-)

at end game both are very good. it will depend highly on YOUR skills and combinations. mages are very good at end game, but i've fought some pretty sick warbirds.

Not sure I agree... I was pally from 30-55, and at 55, only dex and pure mages stand much of a chance... Pally damage output is pathetic, so the major use in end game pvp is support with heals buffs and debuffs...
Though not sure if that changed at all with new stat reqs... Fury helm plate and shield with a wand might work okay if you respec stats after equipping and maximize int... The armor and dodge might be nice...
Though after being a staff mage for so long and getting good at that party style, I think any other build would feel weak.
From a pve standpoint (and i'm sure this will get me flamed) wand mages and pallys are not worth having in a highly efficient group... With a skilled bear, a mage with an aoe staff is the only way to go...
Follow the bear without attacking, buff before beckon, then auto, nightmare, lightning, frost, and flame... That alone will kill even the largest group of end game trash...

xD I'm a sick warbird. I got a pally too, and both are good in different fields... Whatever you enjoy playing with most is the better one

mages with dodge > warbirds. But... warbirds who know how to kite win most of the time...

If I use my anti-pally set (Contains some fury and secret ingredients), they fight for a moment and then BOOM, they are dead
