Small tutorial/ weapon issue

As known, there was a Skip Tutorial pad added in the last update. Before the update, you had to go through the tutorial and during the tutorial, you acquire your level 1 weapon. Now if you skip the tutorial, you no longer receive a weapon. As far as I know, you can't redo the tutorial once you have skipped. The easiest way it seems is to remake your character but that seems like an inconvenience. If this could be fixed, that would be awesome!

I just did this and you do receive a weapon when you skip the tutorial, but not right away. When you use the panel to skip the tutorial, you are sent to Blackstar and two NPC will be in the same room as you. One is waiting for you to complete a quest that was given upon skipping the tutorial. Once you complete the quest, you will receive a weapon that is specific to your character's class.
