Originally, it was an only st Patrick's day plat buy.
Its a vanity helm with 2 cloves that gives a lil percentage of reroll for better drop.
Also people waving at someone wearing it on that special day could receive a free one but only with 1 clove and less % of reroll. But that last part should be turned off.

I bought it the first time just because it look cool without knowin what it does lol.

Indeed it is 50 plat for the Crimson Hardlight shield. I know the plat I have is burning a hole in my leather, but 75 plat for the number one most requested item seems like highway robbery. Wouldn't STS make more money overall releasing it for the sale price or +10 more than before (a penalty for waiting). I passed the first time, and with a 75 plat price tag, I'll most definetly pass a second as well.

Big Luck = 10-15% (I think this is what was calculated) chance of a re-roll. Don't be fooled into thinking this is massive, as its a very very small chance at just a re-roll.

This means if the drop rate is very low you are very unlikely to get very much improvement, as it IS NOT twice the chance, but a small chance at a second very low chance roll of the dice. It is permanent though unlike elixirs, provided you wear it and isn't as if you have to wear a treasure chest on you head. I can explain in more detail if required, or simply search the forums.

Little Luck = No re-roll chance, vanity only

After this I will have one vanity shield per character. Mage has the original hard light cause it is bound, bird has the gratitude, and bear has nothing. I'll get a red hard light.

Now if only the Big Luck didn't look funny, I'd be happy. I joined the game in December but didn't really play until Patrick's because I had no plat and was saving Tapjoy for content. Luck was the first one I saw, and still remember getting my Little Luck off a random person giving them out from waves.

75 plat is nothing for such a great iteam. Such a iteam renders every vanity helm in pl obsolete. I mean there is no point in wearing any other vanity helm (unless your doing non-boss runs). Its like having kobe bryant on your high school basketball team or like having paper when someone has rock or like.... you get the point. Buy it!!!! I have 3 on 3 different class toons and 3 little luck(i bought for 20 plat lucky me). If you had to buy something make it this.

Oh well i hope the bug in your deal of the day gets fixed by then... This is the second day of trying to purchase the DOTD and I always get this annoying message "you have to wait until tomorrow to purchase this item..."

Don't really understand what people are complaining about. If you didn't buy it in the past while it was cheap, don't hate the new players and STS.

New players should be given the chance to get the older vanity items. Pumpkin vanity next?
