Not for 1st gen. 2nd gen doesnt get multitaksing, and 3g does get multitasking.

Elfche, what's the point of the update? Jailbreaking it is better, IMO. Though this is a big leap for apple because you can FINALLY have a wallpaper and a word as the passcode. Not to mention the folders!

yeah I know, but I don't want to jailbreak cuz I won't use hardly any of the features... not to mention i want the iOS 4.0 so when I get my Iphone 4 on the 24th I can backup my old stuff with no problem

I dont use the app photoshop thats crap.. i use the PC version on my computer.

For those true geeks out there, there is a script you can compile which basically pings the Apple servers every 30 seconds and lets you know when the firmware is released.

Downloading now...I think it'll be great if multitasking works like I hope it does. I usually load up a playlist and then go into PL. Hopefully now I'll be able to change it without coming out of the game.
Woo..it's perdy...finally folders!
not to sure how the multitasking works yet tho, open PL, then close it to open a browser still logs me out of game

Yeah I can't figure that out either. Double tapping the home key brings up the music window like it did before. You've stumped me so far, Jobs!

apple not only unsupported but also is illegal for jailbreak... but 96% prefer jailbreak and only 4% remain original.

It's not illegal to jailbreak, lol. Downloading pirated apps is illegal though.
And the Game Center is gonna be out later this year. ;)
