Price question: How much is talon worth?

I recently looted a talon from an elite gold war chest. I do know its an expensive and good pet for rogues, but I have no idea what he is worth, and there are none in the auction (as of this post). How much should I ask for him? (Side note: I won't be looking to sell until I have a good idea of his price range). Thank you.
