Big Luck Trick?

Hi, Today almost all day that I was playing I barely seen any pinks drops. There was a few but yesterday the drops were more active. What I believe is that since the big luck thing is tomorrow they changed the drop rate lower so people will buy it. I'm not complaining or anything but I was just wondering if that's it or a just a coincidence.

My guess is probably not. Remember drops are completly RANDOM and there's no guarantee that a pink will drop. :encouragement:

I agree with Hank.No matter what you do (certain player dies,Killed in certain time,wearing certain gear) it is completely!!!! Random it's like a chance of finding a penny in your office.

If it is completely random then won't the big luck thing not help at all? If you say it improves the chances and things like that, then it is not random...

All "big luck" does is give you a chance to reroll for better lewt. Its still random (even if you do reroll, still not guaranteed a pink dropping) :)

For the maths.....

For those who are running the new Nuri maps over and over, lets just say the drop rate is 1% for a pink to drop. That equals One pink drops every twenty runs with a full party of 5. Seems generous, eh?

The maths over 10000 runs would mean a 1% pink drop rate, wearing Big Luck would improve things from 100 to 114pinks

But hopefully you'll agree the Glyph (elite Nuri pinks) gear is much rarer... Maybe once every 200 runs with a full team?

That drastically changes things as now over 10000 runs a 1% drop rate wearing Big Luck improves 10 to 11 pink, Yep, one pink extra every 10000 drops.

I suppose I'm just saying make sure you set your expectations of Big Luck correctly.

If you want the real secret luck trick just get in a group with me. I played for a few hours both yesterday and today. Between both i saw i believe 14 glyph drops. I didnt get any of them so im a little bitter about that. Point being that was probably about a hundred or so runs with only 1 being a re-roll, so hop in a group with me and save your plat.

Redbrige is right. The help of Big Luck is minimal. Its really like: instead 100 boss kills u kill 115 bosses.

drop rate of glyph is like sewers, 1% for a single person.
