Insane armor+low damage in PvP?

I decided to PvP today and found out I was doing around 72 damage to a pure DEX bird.
What the heck? I usually never hit under 200 to a pure DEX.
After the new update, I have been hitting insanely low damage while I should be doing around 300-500.
Did birds get an HP/armor upgrade? The insane dodge/criticals is enough. Any more armor is just stupid and needs a nerf. I'm just really aggravated by this and refuse to PvP with birds with that much power. And the new dual spec system is just crazy too. Also, as said, in PVE, my attacks do less damage now. It's noticable but it impacts me a lot. I have to use 5-6 skills JUST to kill one enemy, where sewers took only 2-3.
Has anyone else experienced this a bit at all?

The new sets give 142 armor (look at Jaytb and Khaosangels threads on new glyph set.) Also, PVP is about adapt and overcone. May need to rethink your strategy Whirlz.

What armor was the bird using? maybe a drainer equivalent in Nuri's? I know the dagger set has really good armor too.

With my build and the lv 55 mm set I get that much armor lol, and I have no points in str

Edit: I actually have 149 armor, but then again I'm using the founders helm and the 9 Rmor ring :p

oh I forgot I have 139 armor no buffs with mm wand set but someone said in another thread mage sets are supposed to have high armor now but i don't know since I don't have one of the sets

Birds are definitely not overpowered.. pallies at cap now don't always need a shield from what I've seen.

Birds don't hit as much either...I think overall, attacks got weaker because armor is higher...
