Witch to 61? Bird or Mage?

Hello! I have an issue with what char i lvl up
To 61. I have lvl 60 mage (MageProdigy) and a lvl 58 bird thats going to 60 (Daantjeh)
I really dont know whats best in dungeon and pvp coz i pvp a lot and sometimes i farm. The first three people to 61 are dolloway diebomber and onebadazzbird all birds but why r the birds so fast lvled up?

i dont think its the fact that there birds but that there RICH and spend 100s of plat at a time :/

Yes i know but why r the plat spenders all birds? Because they all are very good and play a long time PL they have a lot of experience. I will try to ask them in game

Uber is German for "over", but is common slang for super as well, in German and brought over to English.

There is already a 61 mage, Darkfussion, I think :p

With that said, having a good mage on runs always speeds thing up! I was always glad when a good one was around, the party seemed to be more effective that with a skilled mage than an extra bird, or an extra bear (usually, unless the two bears are Elly and Mystical).

One reason birds get there fast is because a 4X bird makes the runs faster than a 4X bear.

Seems like the new gear is worse then the old crafted sets? seems like Custom Recurve Set> Glyph Autobow set? correct me if I'm wrong.

Custom might have better crit, but 85 armor won't cut it in mount fang. Overall glyph obedience is much better besides having a bit less crit and hit. Plus the awesome looks of course.

I haven't completed my glyph dex set yet (can't find a cap anywhere :/). But, although it gives you better protection as compared to custom, it just doesn't seem to be much stronger in therms of dmg. As it stands now, the only set worth having is the INT set IMO. The crit of this set makes your Mage noticeably stronger. I'm fairly dissappointed by the stats of str and dex sets to be honest. But I'll still buy them, cause they look cool :D

Bird because the glyph set looks so sweet on a bird! And im better in
Pvp with bird

Birds own mages in PVP, but I think mages are much better (versatile, rather) in PvE. When I've finally levelled my 3 characters to 60, it'll be the mage I grind to 61 but it's really personal preference.
