plz dont let lvl. 61 break that too...cos after. 100k killing u dont want to find out that ure set is useless and ure not sparkle anymore...

Well, two immediate feelings come to mind:

1. VANITY THE 56 CROWN SO WE CAN ROCK OUR PERSISTANCE GEAR ERRRRWHERE (might as well keep it a uniform thing, no pun intended)

I have to agree. If there is no persistance set then I would love to see the helm become a vanity as well.

Particularly true for damage dealing classes. Whereas bears tend to (when tanking) use 1h weapon + shield, the majority of birds in most cases uses a bow or auto bow. Among mages, staff is very common.

But seriously the persistence crown should come back for those who didn't get it, and changed to a vanity please.

This, exactly. Bring it back? Nope. Sewers was out for almost seven months, everyone had more than enough time. Unless we are misreading. Turn it into a non-set breaking Vanity? Sure! For the people who earned it before the cap increase. Bring it back for those who didn't? No way.

p.s. Staff-using mages have some of the highest damage output in the game. Well worth taking some deaths for.

Im not getting to 61 anymore i thought helmet would look cooler then crown of persistence but it doesnt aint worth it IMO :(
