Seriously... I think this is highly debatable but most would say glyph set because it has a higher dps, armor, range, m/s, and skill damage is way better I am still strying to get my glyph helm of obedience...lol
EDIT: after looking at my custom set stats it has a higher hit%, crit, & dodge (even tho its a little) and IMO after personal skill these play a HUGE factor who comes out the winner!

Auto bow wins overall due to superior range (12m). It makes it MUCH easier to kite.
Hit% isn't useful for a bird IMO, because birds have so high hit to begin with that debuffs are worthless. Crit though is a pretty big loss, but I think is more than compensated by the increase in base damage. Dodge is a problem, but the superior armor on the auto bow is better.

^Agreed.
The Custom set has a range of 10m, which makes a large difference compared to the Auto-bow's 12m.
A picture to help see the difference:

Point of references: Treasure chest and bush
10m reference: Thorn Wall
I'd say despite the differences in Crit, the other stats for the Glyph set plus the difference in range really do make up for the crit.

Wow I never knew auto bows had soo much range. I should switch to one instead of a regular.
Now if any glyphs would drop for me at all >.<

Everyone is wrong here! A crossbow has a 13m range! As a master of kiting, I would know, :P

This! Was just about to post, you can kite people and 12m skills will not be able to hit you. If anyone cares for a demonstration, add me.

By testing. Generally you use 12m skills and a xbow still works, making it's range at least 12m. But then you can use it outside of the skill range, too, and since it's not by much we assume it's 13m.
