out of the 50something sentences it spams while loading why does it pause at this one?

and then there is the authenticating pause. I don't mind the pause or waiting for pl to load but why waxing elf ears? lol just wondering..

O and does this happen to everybody else too? I have 3 confirmed but we are all on IOS not Droid

Im assuming its because its the biggest part of the loading process.

I asked Asommers about the loading screen phrases a bit ago. You are correct that the long pause is when a big chunk of data is loading up (I think it's all the graphic piling into memory, but I'm not 100% on that). The team changes up the phrases every couple of builds to keep it interesting. As someone else mentioned, it used to pause on Studying Spellbooks, or something like that.
