The usage of elixirs since the latest campaign release has been crazy. I for one, have used 30 hours of 4x elixir pots (40 plat) from 56-61 alone. At 61, I've been using the 2x 30 minute combo elixirs (6 plat). I'd like to continue buying them, but the amount of hours I put in makes the cost stack up.
Assuming I get the $AU 52 for 800 plat package, the 4x elixir hour costs me roughly $2.5 per hour, the 2x combo elixir is roughly $1 per hour. Chump change if you think about it, that's a can of soda a day. However, what happens if I go on for 5 hours? 10 hours? For an entire week?
2.5 x 10 = $25 per day, $175 a week.
1 x 10 = $10 per day, $100 a week.
That said, I'd like to suggest daily, even week long, elixirs. I've come across this in a lot of games before, and more so than not, I know it generates as much revenue for the company yet saves some money for the users.
I don't know the price mechanism, just putting the idea out there.
