Hacking?

I know some ppl who claim they hacked the game and got unlimited money. For Exampple: hackerrrrr, and leafre. Devs if u look at the logs at around 10 am this morning CST then u will see that in the towne leafre and hackerrrrr were saying selling hacked money! for pinks! Now i Leafre would not show me the unlimited hack (i was undercover) but hackerrrrrs was a scam. seeing as how i hve tons of pinks, i traded one ( black chain tunic of legend, possibly the worst in game) for his "unlimited money" it was a scam but i proved my theory.... forgot to take screenies. Hacker said that on the trade box it shows 4 as his money but it was really unlimited. but as i expected it was only 4 gold.

This post got me nervous before I realized it was just a scam. I was playing a game called Borderlands on Xbox Live and someone actually HAD hacked that and created an unlimited money ~trick~. It wasn't so much a trick as it was a virus. If you were unlucky enough to pick up the hacked item (which looked like regular gold) in a public game, you now had the ~ability~ to create unlimited gold from drops. On one hand you would have access to unlimited money. On the other hand, any time you kill a mob, the screen would fill up with so much gold and junk that it would crash your account and become unplayable. Oh, and if you tried to drop the item, it would duplicate itself so you now had two and created twice as much gold. A lot of people had to delete their accounts before a fix was found for this.
