View Full Version : Elixir (and Enhancer) effect stacking

In the next content update, elixirs (and enhancers) will now stack and reset properly if used in conjunction with other buffs/debuffs that affect armor, damage, speed, luck, or experience. For example, if you are using a 30m 2x speed elixir, and you get a 5 second half-speed debuff on you, you'll be at 1x speed (2 times 0.5), and when the debuff wears off, your speed will be set back to 2x.
Luck elixirs will also now stack with the Big/Little Luck. Previously, it chose the larger percentage of the two.

Dang. That stinks I'm out of plat. Used so much plat wish the luck stacked then ;/. Oh well, great for future uses!

Wouldn't this information have been more useful Monday, or even Sunday? Guess that's what the "get it or regret it" part of Justg's message meant; cryptic indeed. Well if you like the elixir and have big luck, let the good times re-roll.
Edit: Stack with little luck; am I missing something?

True, I was under the impression that little luck gave out... no luck at all.

One question about stacking (if this the right place to ask): Example: do two elixirs stack? like if I buy two x1.5 elixirs for 2k each does it stack to x3 (1.5+1.5) or x2.25 (1.5*1.5) or does it stay at x1.5?

When elixirs boost stats. do they boost base stats? (no equips on) or do they boost the total stats including with equips?

You cannot purchase elixirs of the same type. If you have a combo elixir, you cannot purchase any other elixir. If you only have a damage elixir, you can purchase an armor elixir. The stacking was implemented to complement elixirs working with both player skills and NPC buffs/debuffs that also do things like XP, speed, damage, luck and armor modifications.

Another question: For some reason, sometimes I end up with the xp elixir, say the 4x xp one, when I meant to get the combo elixir (xp + all the other stuff). However, you can't buy the combo one if you already have an xp one on you. I have to wait for the xp elixir to run its course before I can get the combo one.
It'd be nice if we could have an elixir control screen, where elixirs are listed one after the other and we can change which one is active at the moment. So for example, when you buy the 4x xp elixir, that's your 1st active elixir. You can then buy the 3x combo elixir, which becomes your 2nd elixir. In your elixir control screen, you can set the 3x combo elixir to be active. Of course, you still would not be able to purchase or make active two of the same type of elixirs, such as two free elixirs or two 4x combo elixirs. This also means a player would have partial times left on multiple elixirs. For example, 18 minutes left on the 3x combo elixir and 8 minutes left on the 1.5x xp elixir.
