I think some sort of maintainence or bug fix... Waiting for it to be back.. Hope it server starts again asap..

My guess is they're telling you because everytime when there's a connection issue, lots of threads about this pop up. It can get annoying when people seem too lazy to look if there hasn't been a thread created about this already.
But yeah, I agree, it's just a thread :)
