View Full Version : Juggernaut & Korruption

The pet Korruption has an arcane ability that nullifies 'heal overtime' effects.

Why is the 'second wind' upgrade for the Juggernaut skill for warriors considered heal overtime?

The upgrade specifically states: 'if you fall below 40% health while Juggernaut is active, every hit you take you will have a 50% chance to cast a self heal'.

It is a 'self heal', not heal overtime.

If I am not below 40% health, I will not be healed.

There is no DOT type healing involved.

There is no overtime effect, just a duration effect.

There is no continuous healing ignoring the % of my current hp as soon as I activate the skill.

Rogues can still be healed by their combat medic's instant 'self heal' upgrade and by picking up their health packs while under korruptions arcane ability.

Mages can still deliver an instant 'self/team heal' while under korruptions arcane ability.

Clearly the second wind upgrade isn't a heal overtime effect.

Could a developer kindly make this upgrade immune to korruptions arcane ability? it looks like a mistake that the upgrade is currently being affected by korruptions arcane ability as far as I'm concerned.

Correct this mistake, thanks.

Maybe because the effect isn't an insta-heal like rogues and mages can do? Since this effect lasts over time and may heal you at certain points?

That's my idea of it. But i also don't play war, so take this with a grain of salt.

It's being fixed in an update this week.

Thanks, developers.
