Each one of these flags represents a life lost that day. Though just a fraction of the actual number it was very moving to see all these.
We will never forget!

I was at work and went onto the main office for coffee just as it was being covered on the news. It was horrifying , then the second plane hit and I couldn't believe what I was watching.
This memory is forever etched in my mind. It was terrible.

I don't know if you guys heard, but they announced yesterday that they're making the spot where United 93 crashed a permanent memorial.

I was in kindergarten. Our class watched tge planes crash in television. We asked why they would crashtge pkanes, and our teacher told us they were mad, crazy people. I vividly remember that day.

To all of those who have been affected by 911 i wish you the sincerest blessing and am sorry for any loss you had.

I was stationed at Ft Stewart, GA, prepping our switchs in an open field to get ready for a field training excercise when this happened. I remembered when one of the soldiers came and said omg a plane crashed into the World Trade Center and ilI remembered why was a single prop plane flying that low, then another soldier said a 2nd plane hit and we were all was wtf is going on and that was when we found out it was 2 passenger planes that crashed into the towers, soon after that the field excercise was cancelled and our base was locked down. That day I will never forgot. ^^^

yep...i was 4 when it happened...my teacher last year made this point when we were talking about it tho: the whole war started right after this right? so for those of us who were 3 or 4 when it happened, most all of our lives, our country has been in war. we dont remem much, except that we're in a war... its a depressing thought, but its true...
my parents wont let my little brother and sister see anything about it yet, they were born a lil after that...i can barely remem them on 9/11/01, but it was like they had this huge dark cloud over them...sure, they tried to hide it from me, but i could see that this bothered them a lot...i dont think anyone will forget this day...

I remember this back when I was in 2nd grade. My parents used to go to NYC to work. They were driving to work while they were sick and at the last minute decided to turn around. Scary thought....
