Can anyone tell me what to do when merching?

Well when you're trying to merch you try to buy something that you will later on sell for more than you bought it for.

You cant make anything with farming. Only lotteries everywhere.

Here is the best merching method I have found... Pick an item that you are very familiar with. It does not have to be a common item or a popular one, but one in which you know the price well.

For example, let's suppose Weak Finesse Jewels are your thing.... Now let's suppose that you know for sure that if you list them for 12 hours in the auction at 6k that they will always sell. The listing fee will be around 400 gold. So that means your break even is 5600 gold per jewel. Now every time you wander by the auction, you check the auction to see the price of weak finesse jewels. Pick a buy price -- let's suppose your buy price is 5100. Every time you see a weak finesse jewel listed in the auction for 5100 or less, you buy it and relist it for 6k. You will make 500+ gold on each one. Occasionally you may be unlucky and one does not sell. But in general you should make money doing this.

For this example, I chose a very cheap item. But if you have more gold to play with, you can tackle more expensive items. It may take some trial and error to become familiar with what different items sell for. Also, I would stay away from anything too rare as it will be hard to know what a good buy and sell price is. With rare expensive items, there is much more risk, although the possible rewards could be higher too.
