Ever since the SL codebase was added, the sound quality on PL has been noticeably worse (at least on Android phones).
You can't tell the difference with phone speakers, but the moment a good pair of headphones is used, it becomes readily apparent. I did email support a while back ... I suspect that they let the matter drop.
Has anybody else noticed? In particular, I am looking for people who use higher end headphones (Audio Technica, Sennheiser, Beyer Dynamic, Shure, Denon, AKG, etc.) when playing and ideally with a phone with a fairly good DAC.
