Were you lvl 56 when the cap was raised to 61? Then this question is for you.
What level did you become when the level cap was increased to level 61? Did the extra XP you earned from 55-56 count toward level 57,58,59? Or were you 56 when the cap was raised?

I was 55, never made any effort to get to 56. When the cap was raised to 61 I was of course 55 with only 6k to 56 INSTAED OF 60k?!
If I was 56 when the cap was increased would I have still been 56? Or 58/59/60?

No it didn't. If you were 56 before the campaign release, you were 56 after with 0 xp done:)

Wow, that sux, perhaps I should reconsider my leveling to 61... I wish i asked this question 40k Xp ago :( I kinda feel like i have wasted my time after hitting level 60.

Soooo… when the level cap increases again guys who are 61 now will have grinded 90,000 Xp more than the level 60 guys. Basically they lose 90,000 Xp! For that matter guys who were 56 last about 50k already.

I want to be the first person to say "this is a travesty!". When the cap is increased to 66, people should be prorated their XP! A level 61 should be credited the XP they earned… pushing them to level 64/65 when the level cap is increased.

I would have thought the same snub, but it did not happen like that. you basically lose it all. I would have liked the same as you but then again, this is supposedly hardcore. The problem I find is that the reward this time wasn't great. The shield is kind of ...errr... just a shield.
I was hoping for a persistence set or something... but no. 100590 was a lot to get to 61, not sure I'll make the jump to 66.

Yes, the shield is junk... I use a bow LOL!
leveling to 61 was a waste of effort, I guess i know now for next time (66?) not to bother, stay 65.

Honestly, I wish i just knew this info before i did my 100500 wasted XP.

PL should make a "free" elite level 61 gear.... give every level 60 something to aim for. I bet the game would make more money from pots as well as many more people would want the "elite" gear.
