Mini Event for you this week:

Anywhere in the world, on any mob death, the possibility exists to spawn one of two things:

1) EggZavier

EggZavier is allegedly the undead beastmaster, whose loot table contains every egg in the game. Find him and kill him for a chance to get the egg you always dreamed of!

EggZavier only hangs out for 30 seconds, so catch him while you can.

2) Various Egg Vendors

If EggZavier is too elusive, you may also spawn an Egg Vendor. Each of these popular fellows sell three Mythic or Arcane eggs. Every Mythic and Arcane egg in the game will be available through these vendors.

These all sell for 30% off the normal price. Some of these pets have never been offered in egg form! These vendors also only appear for 30 seconds at a time.

We're also gearing up for a new system and client release, hopefully next week in time for Labor Day.

The Vendors sell eggs for plat (30% off), the Undead Beastmaster drops them when killed.

eggzavier, nice... really hope it will have reasonable drop/spawn rate, but yes, unlike gears that is expected to be outdated by every expansion, pets are different.
but then again, there are outdated pets with outdated stats, and the recent decision for drop rate were demotivating, so i won't hope much.

Egg-Zavier is a rare spawn. Considering he drops an egg for literally every pet in the game... he's gotta be rare! Not impossible; but really rare :-)

Yes. Sounds about right.

i think people will not complain and loot won't be quickly devalued if loot table and chances correctly follow game effort, better egg/chance at harder/longer map

a faulty example is how we can farm crates better in km3, rather than killing elite cryostar (have you ever see massive cryostar dropped there? almost 300 kills and i only got 1)

Yeah - there are a couple of things at work with EggZavier that make farming him in km3 a lot harder than you probably want it to be (compared to other areas of the game)... but you'll see for yourself. And I suspect we will hear plenty of feedback on the relative difficulty of acquisition, etc.

No. But also, you won't need it. The spawns can happen anywhere and will occur pretty often.

If we use luck elixir we will have better chance at arcanes or it doesn't matter? Also he will spawning random at each person or for example at Monday at 8pm for 30 seconds whoever is on a map gets to find him

Cool event this will by my first Egg one. I have some questions. What is Slagg's passive by the lvls? And does his AA effect bosses? What is The Brother's Whim's passive by the lvls? And how much armor does the AA reduce and for how long, does not say in description(maybe a dev can only answer that)? Thx in advance to the players who already have these pets and can share some info I appreciated it.

It sounds interesting, I just hope that the higher tier eggs actually drop. The RNG factor is very disappointing for the hard grinders out there.

Maybe make a quest, you kill the boss 1000 times and you're awarded with an arcane & mythic egg of your choice. That'll really help people to get motivated.

let old items become cheaper and outdated by releasing new things, that's what progression is, in case of pets, each new pets simply need to adhere to their rarity, let arcane be equal to arcane, and mythic be equal to mythic.
so heavy discounts should be given to old pets that has been released between hammerjaw and arcane deary, and no/less discount on munch mouth, mishi, hisha

and it could be great if eggzavier spawn rate is also better on bosses, with elite cryostar giving the highest chance.

anyway, we need shared pet stable, please appreciate the effort on getting and leveling all these sub-characters!

You need luck after luck to have arcane egg drop.Simply because you need eggzavier to spawn which need luck and another luck to have arcane egg drop.

Consistent as you claimed to be on August 18th regarding prices would mean a purchasable egg for 300 plat from a Beastmaster like you did with Magma. Those who just bought the new pets for 250 plat and see them discounted a few days later should get a refund.

I hope da undead beastmaster can be killed in 30 sec even using a low damage warrior, or this event will be unfair to warriors.
I'm not a plat user long time ago so i dont care about an egg vendor will appear from killing mobs and i will skip it , my only question is can they spawn many times in one map?

Nothing help for eggzavier! Neither luck or x2 drop. Its like "mojo" in Pocket Legends but with differents rules of spawn i guess :3. I think you will have to kill a number of minions and he can spawn at anytime when you reached the limite.. Or not and it depends of the difficulty of the map.
