As the title says. Give rogues a more usable AoE skill in PvP and hard PvE maps.

With a good damage increase, the cooldown can be kept as it is.

I think the upgrades for this skill need to be reworked.

Maybe it should be more like the fireball skill for mages?

Please note, the skill should only increase in damage as the number of targets increases. Just to avoid any 1v1 issues.

What do you guys think? :)

+1

It should work more like mage fireball with the stun. Its useless anywhere but very low level PvE areas.

I like the idea of the damage only increasing as the number of targets increases to avoid 1v1 issues. This gets rid of the possibility of rogues using the skill to specifically stun at the same time as dealing a good amount of damage to a single target so the skill is only used for its AoE purpose.

Great thinking!

This skill is least used on rogues. Useless everywhere. Something has to be done with it. People would swap it for heal packs in pve anytime.

Agree, i like this a lot since the auto target fix and mastery added. This the only one of good crowd dealer for rogue i think, some tweaking needed, as for stun i see some weapon like cyostar bow has proc like sss with stun, maybe we can have this in our original sss

Could someone with a rogue kindly post all 4 of the sss skill upgrades? That would be helpful, thanks.

I really hope the developers support this suggestion.

How about instead of stunning like fb, sss can lower the target effected's hit chance to 0 with diminishing effect?

So for example, the moment sss hits, all the mobs/player who got hit will have the hit chance of 0 ( will miss any attack/skill) then 0.5 second after, the hit chance goes back up to 10%(arbitrary number), then 20% etc. By the time the effect wear off, the hit chance will be back to normal. (will provide a graph when I have time lol)
This way, rogues aren't really stealing mage's class role of crowd control, and reducing the enemy's hit chance resembles the name "shadow storm" more anyways.

I think with this in place, there will be more skill, timing and strategies added into the game as well

Ps. No I don't really pvp, this is just my 2 cents

Hit % chance doesn't apply in PvP.

No thanks. Mages can beat rogues in single target combat (1vs1).

It seems our single target damage ability was already stolen.

With all due respect, he isn't suggesting a second aimed shot.

Ah, I see. So I'm assuming same goes for dodge (which I think is part of rogue's strength)?

Maybe if they add dodge into pvp again then rogues can survive again..... Maybe...

Exactly, i have nothing against it being a strong aoe skill. My comment was more for changing aoe stun to aoe 0 hit chance (their attack won't hit you), but apparently that doesn't work in pvp
