Hotfix | 08/30/16 | Egg-Zavier to Retire, Vendors Remain for Duration of the Event

Hey folks, quick bounce today to remove Egg-Zavier from the game.

He was awesome, and gave out sooooooooo many free eggs, but the egg economy is starting to strain and we need to remove him so it can begin to recover.

Due to several requests, we will keep the wandering egg vendors in the game until Thursday. The amount of eggs flowing in to the economy from these guys is negligible, and we know there are some collectors who would like to round out their stables.

I'd like to address the duration of this event as well. I was somewhat ambiguous about it, and one of our designers stated that it was planned for a week, thus indicating to you guys that it would be happening for a full week.

My intention was for us to look at the egg economy on Monday and make the call.

In all things, the needs of the game will trump any planned roadmap.

In this case, the needs of the game indicate we should cut off the flow of free eggs at this time.

I apologize to those of you who had planned on farming Egg-Zavier for the next couple of days, and I hope you understand our reasoning for taking him out of the game.

I also hope you guys enjoyed the free egg event, it certainly was fun on this side!

The event was awesome!
Still would be better for the players to have a fix date of end. It's easier to plan; the system announcement "24h left" personally helped me a lot.

I looted over 214 eggs in total.Got none arcane egg but 7 mythics,few good legendaries and the rest are trash.Overall it's the best mini event ever.Thanks STS.

Thanks for the event, especially for the heightened guild activity and for making it possible for me to get for free pets I wouldn't have gotten otherwise since their stats and AA didn't justify their pre-event market value.

Having said that in the future if you do mean to have the event end dependent on certain factors then specify clearly in the beginning.

Also, this event has showed clearly how we need options to further expand stash beyond the 250 and make possible mass selection and deletion of jewels. Manually deleting 200+ water jewels is time consuming and aggravating when time is precious.

First off, thank you guys so much for the event. For the first time in a loong time pve was super fun!
Second, I was thinking, what about adding Egg-Zavior permanently, but with a significant spawn "nerf". Such as 1 permanent spawn per 50 event spawns, if you get the picture. That might be excessive, or not considering it would be permanent. This would keep a steady flow of activity in pve, along with an added excitement if you are new to the game!

Is it possible to have a guild stash in guild hall? Saving so many of my eggs for guild event prizes, and my own personal stash is overflowing! Or perhaps make personal stashes larger.

Unfortunately, this would only encourage the return of the gold farmers. We intend to keep Story Tokens tied explicitly to daily participation, it's one of the few currencies that have this sort of association

Can we use hauntlet coins for slot eggs? Or something farmable during a day.. should be nice test and change many times slots but if need 5 days for open and others day for unslot pretty boring..
