How do I get more? I see mages with 25-30 crit running around (endgame), while I only have 8-9% petless, 18-19% max with Nekro, 14-15% with those 6.5% crit pets ;-; (rounded)

Rotting helm Bru
Rotting vest Bru
Elon sash Brilliance
Rendtail ring
Planar pendant
x15 standard mind, x1 fort mind

I want to get more critical without sacrificing too much damage (ex. downgrading from Immo to Dragon staff), what do I do? Lightning jewels give so little :(
Should I switch for assault gear? I have 137 dex petless and it has barely brought me to 6% crit (not counting sash's crit buff)...
Can't afford any eyes :x

There are few way to increase your crit :
- Shady and surge as happiness bonus is 3.5% crit more from nekro but endgame pvp mages use more munch hb due to armor
- force gear which gives crit
- eye gems / lighting jewels.

Tip : some mages used dex build in cap 41/46 to have more crit. I not sure its still useful

Should I not worry about crit in pve? I think I read somewhere that it was really important. Also would, say, a 4 crit gain be worth a 50 damage loss?

In PvE you dont need tons of crit. Not sure about gain crit and damage loss.
