Hey folks,

Happy Friday! Just a couple of tweaks for this event:

+ Appropriate boss identification for Underhul enemies (not poison pools) to prevent exploit
+ Delay vendor interaction until combat is over to prevent accidental purchases
+ Add particle to Anti-Gnome Thief to increase visibility

Its supposed to be this hard i guess, my only regret was not stocking more when people are panic selling after hotfix because they think that with greater visibility of the thief means price will fall..

This time the poison pool is a glitch,
Many players know about it and its 100% thief appearance
Now it is only removing the glitch
The eggzavier wasnt glitch
Sts just nerf the droprate but it is still easier to spawn than thief because it can drop from any mobs

From first time event begin, thief is difficult to kill....need more time, and loot antignome set is not for ur job (its difficult), after update last morning thief didnt come running for 5 hours got nothing (more difficult), dealer ONLY SPWAN for 2-3 times, and the other nothing happens, just like a dog waiting. Nothing come.

before da hotfix me already got antignom helm and armor, and i was very happy and in my mind said oh so this how da feeling farm at elite map even hard but it is worth to farm ,after hotfix i run about 4 hours but no spawn any thief wtf i hope this was mistake hotfix cuz if not it will make my effort from low lvl to endgame become pointless. Now im very very very regret

You looted the antignome items so what are you complaining about? Looting a previously extremely-rare item is certainly worth it. Check the auction, prices of those sets are still so incredibly cheap.

Our goal is to make it worthwhile to farm, but not flood the market so the value is somewhat protected.

We're comfortable with the thief spawn rate, and as always will evaluate on Monday.

Put yourself in the shoes of the farmers who spent the last 18 hours farming and getting a hexsteel worth 50k or worse the ones who didn't even see him all day today.

I think re-evaluate today and find a better way.

Havent seen one thief, got outta work yesterday theres an update now seems like the spawn rate was nerfed? After running all 3 maps for about 13hrs I think one would spawn? Nope whats going on? What else can u do but keep running? Im about done with this event.

I am happy with the spawn rate of the thief, i have seen him 3 times in 5 hours. Durning that time, I looted many good things to liquidate, open, and or craft. Made it more than worth my time to farm.

Also try to reroll gold enhancemnts on a weap that you can swap at boss, 100% gold ehancement has really paid off for me. The highest amount seen from an elite map was just over 6k in gold. Also while hunting for thief, hunt the maps with the best lootable items.


Side note: the thief was exploited due to (a) bug(s). I know of one player looting just over 30 anitignome items, ONE player, so figure if its 20k people who had the same crazy luck during the exploit? You would then be waisting your time farming if nothing was changed, or if the rate was increased.

First, thanks for the event i liked grab the thief and i got about 4-5 items. I never thought it wasn't working properly so i'm sorry if i "abused" of the trick. Now i understand, in your point of view the items had to stay a bit hight.

Then, i got new achievements and i loved fight true nasties!

Actually, i ran a lot today but still unable to catch him.. so i guess it's the end for me. I won't buy the ring, the amulet and the belt with my hard earned gold because ( for exemple, for this last ) i don't see the interest to spend over 800k in an item with a limited use but of course, i will try to get them later for a honest price if they become lowers with futur new maps ( to complete my quests ).
I also believe that you should have review the plat prices and compensate the buyers during the hotfix because a new player who see 500plat for a helm and see 30k in auction won't judge the game at it's true valor.

To me, THIS IS events who bring some move, fun and glory to Arlor and.. few peoples have to understand that: we are in a game so even if you buy a tavern 10m and there is the next one other at 1m well, it's how the things works.. Evolution!

lol similar experience but worse. Since this started on the 8th I have not seen 1 thief yet, TBH I don't even understand how that is even possible for something that is called an event. I've done 300+ Elite Underhaul runs. It's whatever though because I have no plans wasting time working towards Banish gear anyway.

The Antignome Thief spawn chance is literally close to none. I've personally been farming underhul for hours at a time, and have yet to see Antignome Thief since the update. It's gotten so bad that people are even trying to come up with rituals and praying, in hopes it'll spawn Antignome. The event is basically non-existant now. :grey:

Update to my previous post. I finally was able to get Thief to spawn and he seemed no harder to kill than egg thief(imo). Only thing I wanted was power amulet as a substitute until the 16th when I can rebuy Arc Pendant, so now I'm done with event :) . Look for me on the 16th because I'm buying 5.K+ worth of plat and will be buying Elite Awake Gems, Luck Kits, Locations, Etc.. in bulk and will be selling cheap to the players.

IMO, thief spawn rate after hotfix is fine now because antignome price in gold almost match with platinum price from vendor. Just consider previous thief bug problem give the advantage ppl who do this event early, no regrets. At least antignome set still affordable and elite underhul become alive and not isolated anymore. If u lucky enough u can pick some pricey item in those map anyway. Happy farming!

Of course you don't have %50 chance in AL but it is the same logic like coin, dice etc. But since this is an event for a week you have limited time for the "average" which means you may never get what you want. :)

But if you give up, you have 0 chance to loot obviously, that is what I meant.

Its good idea to swap weapon with gold enchanment but do you know howmuch a elite awake gem cost? And howmany time awake u need for getting golds enchanment? Yea if u lucky just once u get golds enchanment in your weapon but if not maybe forever and i dunno howmuch golds u will spend for it , maybe 300k maybe 1m or maybe 10m? This not worth.

so why do these " mini events " , which give things for free , without any effort , besides the bugs in them, eggs, sets, armor that gives 200 % of speed to that ? make athletics in the game? Weapons , pets with Luck , all without . No more difficult maps in the game, to Planar Arena is easier than Backenridge - ' . I just think you guys should have a bit more creativity . Increase the spawn rate by at least even 0.00000000000000000001%. Someone farmed for 48 hours after the hotfix and the thief spawned once. I'd say that was fine due to RNG and all but the majority seem to be having the same issue.

Maybe increase the spawn rate but make sure the thief no longer guarantees an antignome drop.

I want clarify one thing, we gave up this event not because we are lazy , let you know when da previous event egg event me and friends ran full time we party we play together we just sleep 6 hours one day but we are ok with even the event not running full one week we fully understand because if continuos the condition will be bad to the market of arcane and mythic eggs which will ruin the price, but this time different we need good gears we need buy ank kit we need buy potions sometimes we need buy elixir because this time we are ranning elite map and the elite map is the last map underhul which mean the most difficult we have ever played. And no need me explain i think you know the reason why we stop running antignom event .....

Yeah the good thing about this event is helped most of my guildies to completed their elite achievement thing, but for thief ? Mm.. u dont say

Happy Friday! Just a couple of tweaks for this event:

+ Appropriate boss identification for Underhul enemies (not poison pools) to prevent exploit
+ Delay vendor interaction until combat is over to prevent accidental purchases
+ Add particle to Anti-Gnome Thief to increase visibility

So rate was too high and prices were too low and we set drop rate too low so now prices are too high so you would like us to set drop rate high to drive prices lower?

the spawn rate is just fine mate. Just keep on grinding, perhaps you will see him after 5-7 days. **sarcasm**

I have antignom helm , armor , ring and pendant now my golds 350k left, i've a plan to make one set antignome for my rogue at the very beginning of this event but now look antignom belt price little high i really can't afford it, i sold my all antignome items and maybe i can try my luck on awakening weapon but guess i got worse enchanment than previous i have, i dunno elite awakening gem should be supposed to get better odds but seem not . And have spent almost 500k huh.
