I was thinking in PvP, the kill goes to the last person to hit the opponent, right? Sorry if I am mistaken. In PvP I was playing with this one guy that wasn't very good, we were playing against 3 others and I would use my mana and nuke when I could and he wouldn't ever use mana. He got most of the kills and when the game finished (we won) he had more kills than he earned. I was thinking, shouldn't the kill go to the person that dealt the most damage? I personally think it should because they did the most work so they should get the kill, thanks!

EDIT: I wrote it a little weird. Basically, my suggestion is that the person that deals the most damage to the opponent should get the kill.

This is why, in my opinion, Last Man/Team Standing is the BEST way for PvP to go down. Deathmatches are far too subjective.

I'm not sure what the calculation limitations are of the game engine/platform, but they could always work out a HP distribution calculation (i.e. the person who has taken away the most HPs in volume from that enemy since that enemy's last death, if any, gets the kill when that enemy is killed).

Of course, as a primary healer/debuffer, I could bitch that I never get kills, and so it's not fair to healer builds. But...I personally only care about whether the team wins or not at the end of the day. If STS started providing rewards for number of kills in PvP then my opinion would definitely change

I just hate how someone gets a kill when I do more damage or vice-versa. Happens to me all the time whether I am getting the kill or not.
