iOS based devices never have lagged for me. I own iPad 1(no 3g as AT&T sucks) and iPhone 4(Verizon). battery life on both is pretty darn good I can get multi hours on iPhone before battery death. The only time I've ever lagged hard was pre slouch-o when an engi would pop emp or prot in the numa base during peak hours but it was for half a second.

My wife's iphone4 does not lag at all. My DROID x does. Really bad with large mobs. But I will use the DROID x over the iphone4 due the the large responsive screen.

ive heard the experia play works really well for any game.

My samsung galaxy s with at&t runs pl/sl flawlessly. 24 playere using skills on screen in town doesnt lag me =)

Oh and the screen on the samsung is fantastic.

Lol, I was going to get the Thunderbolt, but held out for the x2 cause I did not want to give up my unlimited data plan :-(

wow, first I have heard of an iPhone lagging, I was even considering an iPhone 5 for my next device even though the lack of Flash support really sucks.

I also live in eastern Canada. So depending on where servers are located it could be my issue. Or my service provider. Any suggestions for possibly fixing my lag issue? Constantly at 400+ ping even when using wifi.

And HTC Evo 4G on Sprint, here. I almost always play while connected to Wi-Fi, but have not experience significant lag even when using 3G. I have experienced occasional lag spikes, but I believe those coincided with known server-related issues.
