Question on stats help plz

Hey guys i was wondering

i have level 26 dex mage, i have
1 str
79 dex
55 int

This is enough to equip int and dex onyx/eq/crystal gear. However, if i buy a vanity face to add one point to dex, will my base stats be enough to equip an 80 dex purple demon claw? thanks

Well why wouldn't it?

If the vanity face says that it'll put 1 point for dex why would 79+1 be something else than 80?

Stat requirements are for base stats, boosters don't help any more.
So you need 80 dex to start with.

You will need to have a base stat of 80 dexterity to equip an item that requires 80 dex. Boosters stopped working awhile ago to make dual speccing easier for high levels.

What they said, base stat has to be 80, sorry :( Annoying if you were used to the old system like I was, but nice in other ways now.

At least now you shouldn't waste plat respeccing your stats hoping you calculated the boosters correctly, lol
