This should be possible in AL? This is gonna be fun if it is have a attack speed in AL.

We actually have something called damage per second
I think there is an attack speed but you just cant exactly measure it. This is because when I equip Runesteel Blades, I get a lot of dps but when I equip Dragon Blades, I get more damage and less dps. So that means that Drag Blades attack slower than Rune Blades :D

"This should be possible in AL" yea it is. Its been in AL since release and its called DPS if your thinking of what the venom set that add 200% speed Now you want a set that adds attack speed? We already have that. its on all weapons which is Dps

For what I understand here:
Maybe He wants a new PVP mode (Speed) where everyone have 200% speed :abnormal:

Lol, he wants attack speed affix for weapons. Imagine how many lava pools can u get with it.

Attack speed is already implemented in AL.
A mage example is the firesquid and flamestrike (because i'm a mage), they are the weapon with fastest attack speed for mage.
Just have a mage spamming auto attack with it, and another mage spamming auto attack with another weapon, you'll see the difference.

sorry, im just used to call it auto attack from STS's past games ......
I just meant the regular normal attack, so spamming is just keep clicking the button

Its a misconception the damage per second on our stats is not attack speed. I think its part of the calculation where our(Nox poison, fireball ignite, bleed etc) DOT damage is taken.

Not really. DPS is how fast our weapon hit/charge. Example dev maul vs storm sword

So if i have architect dagger with 1k dps and i get immo dagger with 2k dps, the immo one will hit 2 times faster?

You just won't notice it :)
Its also about how fast your normal attack CHARGE.
Try test with some low DPS weapon vs immo dags or anything

No, it wont
If they have the same base damage then yes.
Dps= damage * attack speed
So if arch dagg does 500 damage, with 1k dps, then it hit 2 times a second. If... Somehow, Immo dagg does 500 damage as well, then indeed it hits 2 times faster (or else how does it make up to the double dps?)

A warrior with 100 dps and one with 300 dps using sword, they will charge at the same time, cuz imo charging time is fixed.
