It has been a bit since we've selected new Guardians. We've been putting together the new Star Guard program and we wanted to announce them at the same time. So, this week we bring you four new additions to the Guardians of Alterra program!

What is a Guardian of Alterra? Guardians of Alterra are players of Pocket Legends and contributing members of the community that have distinguished themselves as a valuable player to both Spacetime Studios and to other Pocket Legends players. We'll be evaluating new candidates every couple of weeks, so keep checking in.

I am speechless! When I was told in game, I thought it was a joke. LOL! I want to thank STS for the honor. I have never once thought of this being a possibility but am grateful it has turned out this way. My only goal is to help those who ask for it and to try and make sense of situations which seem cluttered.

I am truly honored... and I would like to thank my mum, my dad, my lovely wife and 2 wonderful kids as well as the Pope, God, the Queen of England, the President of the USA, the President of Mexico, Mother Theresa, Boy George, Laurel and Hardy, Vishnu, The President of the Republic Democratic of Congo, the dog I saw this morning and everybody else I may or may not have forgotten.

I want to say my opinions and comments:
What I really love about this decision is that all four of these have been long and helpful members of the PL community, and have surely never expressed any yearning for a shield; meaning, all their actions were voluntarily to help people.
These four absolutely deserve the honor of this shield, they should have been added earlier.
Thank you to Conradin, Crimson, Kungfu, and Stomp for demonstrating as role models for the community and are now fully recognized.
EDIT: I'm also very happy that they decided not to use the Help Portal for picking new GoAs.

I just want to say that the Support program to decide newest guardians was a good idea, BUT, it didnt turn out right. Only a few questions actually were "answered" in the site. barely any questions were on there. Which is why I think there were 4 new guardians announced. IMO, deciding the new guardians should not have been chosen by the support site (which i hope it wasnt all decided by that) because of the outcome of it.

Anyways, well deserved guys!
