This is a simple and to-the-point guide for people not looking for an in-depth build, but just some advice to get started on their own build. All commandos should have these skills regardless of where they allocate the rest of their points. The ranks are a minimum, not a maximum. :)

Neutron Stomp (rank 1+)

Put at least one point into this; it is a vital crowd-control skill with its AOE knockdown centered around the caster. Taunts. Only damage increases with rank.

Singularity (rank 1+)

Put at least one point into this as well. It has a larger range than Neutron Stomp, and centers around a target. It knocks them down, stunning them, as well as pushing them away from you. Taunts. Only damage increases with rank.

Graviton Slam (rank 1+)

Not as central as the other three crowd-control skills here, but you should should still put a point into this. The AOE slow effect works on any enemy, mobs and bosses alike, and is a multi-class combo. Taunts. Damage increases with rank.

Gravity Well (rank 1+)

This skill is very important! It lets you group enemies and pull them around. Recommended rank 6, because the attraction force, not just the damage, increases with rank.

No, the other skills are not useless, and I swear by many others. This is just the few skills that any Commando, whether you focus on tanking, single-target damage, or AOE damage, should have. A good Commando leads the team too; and these skills, along with the others you may use, will let you do so well. :)
