How much gold do you "need" to get the "best" gear?

Heyo,

I recently reached end game.

Wanted to get an estimate of how much gold I should obtain in order to get the "best possible gear". I know I've missed some mythics, or whatever they are called (sorry, I'm an AL newbie). But I'd love to get a goal of how much gold I should get before buying anything.

I know a new cap is coming, so I'll save up for it. I've currently farmed up about 400k, so I know there's a long way to go.

Any tips/estimates would be greatly appreciated!

15-18M, not including jewels but including pets. Jewel cost is based on what tier jewels you can afford.

But for a mage:

Anti gnome set costs 1.6-1.7m helpful to farm in underhul elites. (Antignome hexstone helm & amor are best nxt to banish set items)

For pve i still use flamestaff hexstone 51 mythic (400~450K)
56 arcane gun 5.2~5.5m for PVP and bosses
54 arcane pendant 3.2~3.5m (I still user planar pendant though)
56 mythic belt brilliance 550~650k.
Arcane ring still holds good

I fixate more on what stats I need to run what maps rather than gold value, as value changes with each event.
I have recently started farming elite Northal and cryo and with these stats I'm able to pug and make money with the occasional death due to lag/derps. I have a lot of upgrading I can do on jewels while I have good ( best) equipment.

Thanks for the responses.

I've been farming a lot of KM3 (Cryostar Crates). Been finding it quite easy to farm and sell the crates at 3.5k each. I'm using 56 legendary gear, so nothing too spiffy.

Any other recommendations for farming spots?

Once your stats get decent get familiar with Northal awoken, run elite, he's not nearly as hard as elite cryo. Take the quest kill 90 elite orcs, it takes like two runs and pays 1500 and can be repeated indefinitely.
Same goes for all the end game elite daily quests, in that they pay, and the liquidation from drops is noticeably better in the last two campaigns.

jewels 70-80m
gear/pets/house 15m+
enchantments "unkown" lol which means you can waste 200m on enchantments and get crap

so I think 150m+ is fair

Weapon: 1m-8m depending on class

I'm sure 150m gets you the best of the best, but for the richest part! 20-25m is surely enough to have amazing gear. :)

5m is enough to be decent more you have better you can be max is full exquisition gear. 30m max

I would recommend doing Planar arena, you can gain 1k golds per run and runs only last 2-3 mins. You also get 1 master chest per run which can drop an arcane fossil (cost around 3m).
If you could get a weapon with 100% gold loot then the farming would be better because you can gain 2k per run. This is way cost-effective than running km3 for locks.

Just a suggestion if youre bored with km3.
