Purely speculation/discussion thread but what are people's thoughts on the possibility of there ever being advanced classes?
Also what kind of Advanced classes would be coolest?
Personally I think weapon/specialty based advanced classes would be cool.
Rogues
Assassins
Rangers
Warrior
Beserkers
Paladins
Sorcerers
Wizards
Engineers

Interesting idea. Would spice up the game a little. Could make it such that both sub-classes share the same skill tree but certain skills/passives/masteries are enhanced in each sub-class while others are nerfed. Puts more complexity into character builds and would make the game more interesting, at least for me.

Don't we already have this?
Assassins - daggers
Rangers - bow
Berserker - 2H sword
Paladin - sheild and sword
Wizard - staff
Engineers - guns
We don't have flashy names but it's almost same

As safiras told skill/passive/mastery can be enhnace more than this like new skills and this game won't be simpler
If you want advance classess play avabel they have tons of advance classes

It could be cool if some weapons would have their own skill maybe. Like if you wear a weapon you have a 5th skill.
