I was curious about the damage reduction for arcane shield.
156097
That's 55% for charged

156098
That's an extra 15%

156099
Another extra 15%

156100
And a final 15%

If u add them up that's 55+3(15)= 100% damage reduction. But I know for a fact that it doesn't absorb 100% damage. So do these numbers stack multiplicatively or additively. If they do in fact stack additively why doesn't it reduce damage by 100%?
Thanks

You should see the shield as temporary extra health. A part of the damage (i'd say not more as 70%) you take, goes from the shield's health. The other part goes from your own health.

The 'health' of the shield is limited and the shield will dissappear if the linit is reached or after the 10/15 seconds. The health of the shield can also be increased by these upgrades.

I believe 2 of the upgrades increase the health of the shield and 1 does increase the amount damage, that goes to the shield instead of your health.

Absorbing and damage reduction are different terms. When you increase the percantage of absorbing, you just increase the limit of shield ( i.e Your shield was able to absorbing 3k damage. By increasing absorbing 15%, your shield will be able to absorb 3350damage. Meaning that, after you get 3350damage from your oppo, your shield will be broken). However, when you increase damage reduction, you just decrease the damage you get (i.e Your oppo damages 2k with aimed shot. By increasing damage reduction by 15%, you will get damaged 1700)
