Aura vanities start getting into dangerous territory of "I have no idea what's going on or why I have this shiny because everything I'm wearing adds a new version of the shiny" and you end up looking like one of my childhood finger paintings. Also, auras (and any particle type system) are notoriously bad for performance. Get 4 people who have Auras + Vanity Auras in the same zone and the Note 7 won't be the only exploding phone!

The effect of the Kershal Staff aura still displaying was not intended, but we left it in because players enjoyed it. We don't plan to do more of that.

If you read vroom's quote, he mentioned "vanity aura", and not just about having aura while having a different weapon.

i use aegis/bulwark as my main weapon, and it should be warrior's signature weapon atm... tbh, i don't prefer the looks of pavise regardless of the aura, so please warriors, vote for frost bulwark!

agree on this, i really think cryostar weapons vanity has a better concept as a vanity, it looks different (and better) rather than when it is used as a weapon

so probably weapon vanities that is based on frost touched weapons set and original l36 mythic set :P, with upgraded physique/visual and unique aura could be great, e.g. different aura on weapon type 1 and type 2, so when we equip both vanities we'll have combined aura, like 2/5, 4/5 and 5/5 combined aura of antignome set

There's no guarantee than pavise will have aura...

I think they'll keep the aura, unless it was a temporary thing that only appeared when the weapon proc'ed (I've no idea how it works, but I assume it's a permanent aura like Arcane Ring's).
I'm just a bit worried about whether it will appear when equipping a sword/hammer type of weapon, too. Sts didn't confirm it, and even said they weren't going to repeat Kershal's bug (if I recall correctly). I wouldn't put my hopes in that, but I think most Warriors are well aware of that. Then again, I'm not a Warrior, so it's none of my business :p
If they make it like Kershal, I'll be happy for them, if they don't I will NOT support anyone who complains about it :D

Tbh I dont get why people are asking for these to be exclusive. They're mythic weapons, not arcane. They're being released as a celebration of AL. Not for top merchers/farmers to obtain only.

They'll probably have some way to create them that isn't too tedious or hard so that most of the playerbase will be able to obtain atleast one of them by the time the event is over. As well have having limited quanitity available for 100 plat in the store.

They'll probably have some way to create them that isn't too tedious or hard so that most of the playerbase will be able to obtain atleast one of them by the time the event is over. As well have having limited quanitity available for 100 plat in the store.

Actually, it was suppose to be ANY weapon, but apparently the community favors the design of the mythic weapons, that's why the finalists are all mythic weapons

Personally i would like to see something different to the old mythics as vanity for sts birthday. Maybe something else that sts have already designed, modelled, game implemented etc etc etc ... like the weapons of the mini boss in the twilight expansion for instance?
Firstly you gotta remember we need a weapon for each class, mage rogue and warrior.
Some of the mini boss in the new expansion have weapons, so how about making those into vanities?

Hmmmm .... rogue is a bit tricky .... theres hardly ever any rogue type boss' lol?!!?!? Wonder why that is .... anyhows (shaking head before getting distracted and babbling off into an infinite discussion about rogue boss thingies) ... what about Frostir hammer for rogue, but two of the hammers, one for each hand like the blades? Frostir hammer is quite small and dainty (no offence roguies) so that would be cool?
Anyhows i like the idea of a rogue mashing mobs heads with two hammers .....

Oh, then next year you can do the armour vanity to match the weapon vanity for 5th birthday ....
probably still be doing the community goals in a years time he he he ... lol .... :P
