If you look at the current lbs just in the top 5 there's oodles ooodles of ties for each class, I thought this problem had already been fixed by sts?

I believe it's the LB runner's decision whether or not they want to tie. They know the risk that come with this. If you don't like ties then you don't do them.

Yeah lol ties on lb has been around since winter event 2014 when the lb golem/yeti/ice set released. And they put a lot of gold with the energy kits they used. I hope that price of the lb this year wont be as much as the old ones.

Highly doubt the lb ghost sets will be as much as older vanities, but never know! Personally i think it's harder to see the vanities in all their glory when it's translucent. I prefer solid state! It'll be hard to differentiate those sets between regular ghost sets.

Well i hope so i heard people on top 5 already used 3k plus energy kits, so probably it will cost much. But if it has a really big difference in appearance than the other ghost sets, i'll probably grab one if i'm not tight on budget.

LB tie. Score!

I just hope nothing like the uproar over mage leaderboard tie in last Syrillax event is going to happen. Good luck and well done, leaderboarders!

It's not that big of a deal IMO, both parties worked hard for their rewards.

But imagine the moment someone in the top 4 breaks the tie, then rip for the people in 5th place tie

Yep might be a possibility. Thats why you need to keep ahead on lb, and never trust ties on lb besides if u really know the person. But best wishes for the lb players out there in the event.

In Halloween 2014 I tied #7 warrior, it's just the right thing to do...you'd know if you were ever in that position - it's simply respectful.

I was asked to tie by a guy I had been running with during the event through another friend, I had nothing to lose as top 25 received all 3 vanity's back then, but I spent 30-40mill on energy and I'm sure 26th place spent around 20+mill and a lot of time, he deserved it.

(My friend was 27th and no one would tie for him, also a reason why I tied, he spent 20mill and just got a banner)

- Imagine spending that much and only getting some platinum and ankhs!

As for the top 5, it's most likely personal gain as they may feel insecure of being taken over in points so they tie, they also save time and resources on additional runs.

P.S people always forget, it's just a game...don't make such a big deal over something so insignificant.
Also, I vouched never to run an event for lb again...it was so boring and time consuming...lol

Everyone on this thread assumes that I've never ran an event lb for some reason, I have and I do understand the struggle, I was simply asking a question because I thought STS has changed this.

There were always ties in LB. I think its on LB's todecide if they want to share prices and loose on value or if they will really work hard for it and run as crazy. :)

I can understand tieing at last spot, but if there s a tie of 2 ppl at 1st spot then the next spot should be 3rd instead of 2nd.

Sorry, I knew you'd see it that way, I just meant in general for everyone.
Also, I know you've ran events before lol, I know your toons ...you know mine just not this one muaha

Also wasn't sure if you'd ever been in #26-30 position...you'd want people to tie for you, so it's just kind to do the same is what I meant.

Wasn't aimed towards you lol just to clarify.

Hey, STS there should really be a tie breaker.
If 2 players tie in 1st position the next person should be 3rd and not 2nd.
and the person who reached the certain point first, should rank higher than the persons who reached the points later to make a tie.

Ever seen olympics or competitive tournaments where everyone becomes the winner just because they did HARDWORK? lmao

It's a strategy lmao, so that more players will get the reward I think :/

Well, yeah, obviously that's what they're doing it for. What people are discussing here is whether that's right or not.
