also it rewards a banner

No. Check your achievement area, there's a new achievement for 25k aps. The reward is a banner.

I was wondering the same thing myself.. Can a dev post the banner plz? or let it be a surprise because it may cause ppl to whine about the design and we can find it ourselves when the time comes

No its just another lame banner. Like all the others. Except black and blue pvp tournament banners and timed run tournament banner.
